The Pitch

What You’re Getting

The real headline here is charging speed. Zero to full in about an hour via AC wall outlet. That’s not a typo. Jackery calls it “Emergency Super Charge,” which sounds like marketing nonsense until you actually watch the battery percentage climb like it’s being chased.

The USB-C ports at 100W are worth noting — that’ll fast-charge any modern laptop. Two AC outlets feels thin compared to the EcoFlow DELTA 2’s four, but Frank doesn’t seem to mind.
Battery Life
LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) is the gold standard for portable power stations in 2026, and for good reason. You’re looking at 3,000+ charge cycles before the battery drops to 80% capacity. That’s roughly eight years of daily use.
Compare that to the older NMC lithium-ion batteries (500-800 cycles), and it’s not even close.
Real-World Runtime
We ran the numbers — and then we ran the actual devices:
- Laptop (60W): ~15 hours
- Mini fridge (80W): ~11 hours
- CPAP machine (40W): ~23 hours
- LED lights + phone charging: 3+ days
For a weekend camping trip or a 12-hour power outage, the 1000 v2 handles it without breaking a sweat.
The Verdict
The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 isn’t the most powerful, the lightest, or the most feature-packed power station you can buy. But at $499 on sale, with LiFePO4 reliability and a one-hour charge time, it might be the best value.
